    Are You In Need or Know Someone Who is?

    Our mission in this endeavor, is to help struggling families in La Center have a wonderful holiday season. Over the past thirteen Christmas’s the giving trees have provided presents, food, cleaning products and toiletry items for an average of 25 local families.

    2025 Giving Tree Application

    The La Center Lions are proud to support our community through the Giving Tree Program this year.

    Please print & fill out the attached application completely. It would help if you write in blue or black pen and print as clearly as possible.

    Applications must be returned as a paper copy to any of the La Center School Offices.

    Please keep in mind that gifts are generously donated by the citizens of La Center and therefore we cannot guarantee that all requests will be filled. If you need more individual sheets, please feel free to make a copy of the back page.

    Applications are due back no later than Friday, November 14th- Extended date.

    We will be calling those who are accepted by November 15th and only those who are accepted will receive a phone call.

    Distribution is December 20th, with most homes being delivered to. You will need ID or a utility bill in your name that matches the name and address on your application.

    All applications will be maintained in confidence by La Center Lions.

    Applying to our Giving Tree does not prevent you from applying for help from other organizations as we are limited in how many families we can help and other organizations have different deadlines. We do ask that if you are receiving help from another organization that you not apply for our giving tree as that would prevent someone else in need getting assistance.

    Giving Tree Tags

    The La Center Lions is hosting the Giving Tree this year and the tags are now up at the following locations:

    • Silo Barbershop,
    • StoneHill Coffee House
    • Last Frontier/New Phoenix
    • La Center Church
    • All three schools
    • Lewis River Dental
    • New Phoenix Casino
